OPEN GYM

Preschool Open Gym

Preschool Open Gym is a wonderful place for little ones (5 years old and under) to explore, climb, jump, and play. We are open every weekday from 10:00-11:00 AM. You decide what day works for you (or come every day!). One parent or caretaker must accompany their child and watch out for them in the gym. Miss Callie sets up amazing obstacle courses and activities with plenty of opportunities to get comfortable on beams, bars, and other equipment just their size. Come run on the Tumbl Trak, jump in the foam pit, play with the balls and scarves – and hopefully get tired out for a solid nap. It’s a great place for parents to meet each other, too.

  • The cost is $10 for each child
  • Children under 1 year old are free! If they are sitting or crawling around on the floor, they still need to be registered so they count toward the capacity of the gym, but we will not charge you for their pass. (No need to register them if you are babywearing them or if you know they will be sleeping in their car seat the whole time, off the floor.)
  • We are unable to accept cancellation requests made after 8:00PM the evening before the open gym. Please send a message before 8:00PM so we can open the spot, and we will put a credit on your account.
  • Please register ahead of time to reserve your spot - many open gyms fill up completely!

Please click on the link above to see the Open Gym Calendar that shows how many spots are left on each day of open gym. We put a strict limit on the number of kids to make sure it does not get overcrowded and all children will be safe.

Recreational Open Gym

Recreational Open Gym is a perfect time for kids and teens (6 - 17 years old) to play and practice lower level gymnastics skills in the recreational gym.

  • These open gyms are held on select Saturdays from 12:00-1:30PM
  • The cost is $16 for each person
  • Unfortunately we cannot offer refunds
  • Please register ahead of time to reserve your spot

Recreational Open Gym is self-directed. It is not a class but rather a great time for gymnasts to practice skills they have learned already with a coach and can safely do without a spot. If your child is independent, you may drop off and pick up your gymnast when open gym ends. Please make sure we have your cell phone number on file in case we need to reach you.

1) NO FLIPPING, NO HIGH BARS, NO HIGH BEAM, NO PIT BAR, and only ONE person at a time in the pit or on the Tumbl Trak.
2) No food or drink besides water is allowed in the gym.
3) Wear appropriate athletic attire. No baggy clothes, skirts, buttons, buckles, zippers, dangling jewelry, socks or shoes in the gym.
4) Gymnasts should communicate to make sure everyone knows whose turn it is.
5) Always try to land on your feet!
6) Open gym is for working on skills you already know. Do not experiment with brand new skills that your regular coach hasn’t introduced to you yet. Do the skill with the same set-up and spot that you have done in class (if you need a spot from your coach in class, it’s not ready for open gym).
7) It’s OK to take videos/photos during open gym. If you are planning to post these on social media, please make sure that you are the only one in the frame when recording. Some of our gymnasts prefer not to be featured on social media.
8) Absolutely no roughhousing.
9) To keep everyone safe, our open gym supervisor will ask anyone choosing unsafe behaviors to stop on the first occasion this happens. If the unsafe behavior persists, the participant will be asked to leave the gym without refund.
10) Ask the open gym supervisor for help if you want to change settings or move equipment!
11) Please clean up after yourself - return mats and accessories to where you found them when open gym started.
12) Have fun!

Please click on the link above to see the Open Gym Calendar and register ahead of time. The calendar shows how many spots are left at each open gym. We limit the number of available spots so that it does not get overcrowded and everyone will be safe.

Adult Open Gym

Adult Open Gym is for adults (18+ years) to practice their gymnastics skills in the recreational gym. Gymnasts are expected to have safety in mind as they work on familiar skills.

  • These open gyms are held on Monday 7:30-9:00PM, Wednesdays 7:00-8:30PM, and Fridays 6:30-8:00PM
  • The cost is $15 per person
  • Adult Open Gym is self-led (not coached)
  • Please be aware the classes and team practices are happening at the same time- their space needs and mat set-ups take priority
  • Unfortunately we cannot offer refunds
  • Please register ahead of time to reserve your spot

Would you like to be coached? Please sign up for our adult class on Monday nights, or a drop-in class!

Adult Drop-In class: We offer individual, drop-in classes where you can join the coach-guided adult class for the evening. The price per class is $22. This is a great option for someone who is unable to commit to the regular class every week, or for someone who is on a wait list. There is enough room in the class for drop-in students when enrolled students have planned absences. Spots are limited so plan ahead to reserve your spot. You can register for a drop-in class on our events calendar, which you can get to by clicking on the pink "Register for Open Gym" button at the top of the page. The Coach-Guided Adult Drop-In class shows up in green

These classes have a guided format rather than a traditional structured class in order to best serve the wide range of interests, goals, and skill levels found in a group of adult gymnasts. Adults warm up and stretch however they prefer and then go to the events of their choice. The coach rotates around to all events to help with corrections, give drill suggestions, help with safe progressions, and answer any questions. This allows each gymnast to tailor the class to what they want to work on each day. Our experienced coach can assist gymnasts from beginning levels to very advanced. We have developed a supportive community where adults get valuable feedback and suggestions while determining the direction of their individual gymnastics journey.
